Tomorrow is the official first day of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Today was spent preparing: finalizing outfits, making phone calls and shopping.
I met with Tonya for breakfast at a little muffin café on 70th and Columbus, flew home briefly, then raced to 34th street for an afternoon of shopping. By sundown, I was finished, and went to Lincoln Center for research. I stayed till 7:30, walked up Broadway considering dinner, and stopped at McDonald’s before returning home.
I’ll most likely be up till midnight and will wake at 5:30 a.m. to hit the tents at Bryant Park at 9 a.m.!
