If blogging were a sport, the past three days were spent sustaining horrible defeats.
I’m learning that with more readers, comes more problems. When I had a very small readership, I posted about everything which went unnoticed. Now that I have 4 or 5 times more readers than ever before, stupid slip ups are important.
You may now pass the dunce hat to me.
I’ve made three posts on the topic so far, and though the its dead, it’s not dead in my mind. Feeling like glaring loser in a sea of experts is no fun. Believe me.
All day today I was having trouble making posts, and I realized that these new rules have left me searching for things to post about. For awhile, readers, bear with me as I try to regain my boundaries. With new ones, I’ve hit writers block, and am considering ending this blog.

Awww, I would be very disappointed if you ended your blog (no pressure! haha).Your dance posts are great. Maybe you need a trip to Saks to clear your mind? I’m not trying to diminish your concerns - hope you’ll feel better about things soon, whatever you decide.

Hi Marisa, thanks for the comment. Saks is actually a very good idea, especially since I’ll be in the area tomorrow afternoon.

Ariel, don’t stop blogging. Take a chill-out break but stay with it. The blogosphere needs all our voices and perspectives.
Blog for yourself; don’t worry too much about what other people think. For me, blogging is just a ‘public’ way to talk about the things I love and the possibility that maybe someone else will get some pleasure or maybe try a ballet, book or film because of what I wrote is an extra bonus.
If you feel like it, e-mail me and tell me what’s been bugging you. Maybe you just need to talk about it with a fellow blogger!

Oh, please don’t stop blogging! I love your blog & read it all the time.
That said, I hope you can work out these issues to your own satisfaction - I think your readers will just be happy if you keep blogging.
