Since Sunday I’ve been in concealed anguish from a family death and other personal battles. These were amplified on Wednesday, when bad news came from the Mobile Press-Register.
When discussing plans for the New York City Ballet Q/A article, we all forgot to mention word count. So I filed a 80-or-so-inch article, and they were all hoping on a 25-inch article. Now there’s no room for it in Living Arts, and Neighbors doesn’t want it. The word “timeliness” was brought up, which is I’ll admit a bit frustrating, since I mentioned the “timeliness concern” when the article was first conceived.
Mr. Harrison is trying very hard to get it printed, and if not, I don’t know where else I could publish it besides here. Oh well.

Argh, I hate papers! Why can’t they publish it in whole online? There aren’t space limitations online, for print anyway, right? Otherwise, definitely publish it here, and maybe send it to the Winger?
