A text message from my sister Dione reads:

No more Wendy.

And by Wendy she means Wendy Whelan, the super-famous ballet dancer from New York City Ballet, set to perform with Mobile Ballet in the “Gala Evening of the Stars.” I was so excited I posted heavily about the event.A slew of other New York City Ballet dancers were supposed to come too, and I have jokingly coined the event “NYCB Invasion.”

Sadly though, the invasion will be without their brightest “star.”

I texted Dione back:

Why?

 And a little later she writes back:

They got a new lady.
