I’m turning 23 in less than a week. I’m slightly disinterested and wish to stay 22 forever, only because the year I turned 22 will be my favorite. I’ve done so many amazing things, and it’s been a good year to say the least. This year:

- Spent Halloween passing out candy as Jane Austen in a handmade Regency dress.
- Was locked outside of the Mobile Civic Center with American Ballet Theatre’s David Hallberg (my favorite male dancer).
- Spent Christmas in New York City!
- Saw New York City Ballet’s “The Nutcracker.”
- Saw my first world premiere opera at the MET, Tan Dun’s “The First Emperor.” (Saw Domingo live!)
- Saw Itzhak Perlman perform live.

- Saw the NYCB’s “Four Voices.”
- Attended my first American Ballet Theatre performance.
- Met Ethan Stiefel, Gillian Murphy and David Hallberg at the MET stage door.
