Ack, where’d that post go?

I few posts disappeared over the weekend, only because I’m still learning WordPress. Please bear with the changes! I’m also in the process of “defining” this blog–a more complex endeavor. More on that later, I promise.

My first “kill fee.”

I received a call Wednesday at 8 a.m., from my editor and co-writer at Bay Family. Our progress had been slow on a series of articles, so he postponed publication and I will get my first “kill fee” shortly. In a sense, this is a relief, more time to devote to sharpening the article.

Like the dork I am about all things publishing, I feel as though I’ve hit my first writing milestone. The good and the bad–I love it all.
